The hotel was at the beach, but there was a pier just near. It looked beautiful but the water in ocean was dirty ant the beach also. There were old scrap and garbage on the beach and all around the hotel. the whole area was very shabby. The area was terrible. Hotel could be better if they would clean around areas

Quiet village with places to eat and small supermarkets.
Quiet village with places to eat and small supermarkets. Great for the pier to get to Railay, 15 minutes long tail boat trip. You really need taxi/moped to get about. Beach is nice and runs for 1 mile and is mainly sandy

Ao Nam Mao is a little out of town if you are wanting to be in the thick of things.
However there’s a good bus service regularly or get yourself a scooter.
If you like the lush vegetation, noises in the trees at night then this is for you.
A great hidden area with enough to do or just laze around on that hammock and forget about work .

Calm place close to bigger and much more popular Ao Nang and Railay. About 10 places to stay - hotels, bungalows ... enough restaurants with really good Thai food, 3 bigger shops like 7-11. There is no “official” beach to swim

The local restaurants so basically equipped yet the food...
The local restaurants so basically equipped yet the food they produce is some of the best I've eaten ever. The local fish cooked whole in a variety of ways with differing flavours and spice was memorable. The hospitality made me feel I was part of a family not a tourist. I had genuine feelings of sadness to leave.
The villa style rooms were large and spacious: fitted with a kitchen, living room and en-suite bathroom. While there were no amenities like a hotel gym, the overall resort was great value for money and the sleeping quarters were excellent. Breakfast and food in the restaurant were so delicious and very unique. I'd highly recommend their herb salad. The hotel grows all their vegetables and herbs on site. The best part about the hotel was the exceptional, friendly and super helpful staff. They really were the highlight of our stay.
The beach at the hotel was not to stroll around (too rocky and the tide was high enough that you couldn't step down on the beach) but its nice to look at. The pool has a view of the boulder which looks nice during sunset.
The dressing room/ vanity was nice especially for friends so there's a private space to change and get dressed. The rooms have a swing outside and an outdoor sitting area.
It was a short cab ride away from Ao Nang beach (not too expensive).
- The staff was extremely friendly and supportive. One example: I was not feeling so well and the lady at the reception drove with me immediately to the closest pharmacy in order to making sure I’m getting the right medicine. That was far from what I’ve expected!
- You need to pay extra for the breakfast, but it was nice and you can enjoy a stunning view to the sea. Just for the view it’s worth it having your breakfast at the hotel’s small terrace.
The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at.Krabi. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Especially the receptionist Tok Ta.The room and the balcony are clean and tidy. 100 % it's the best hotel to stay with family and friends. The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Please give your staff awards!
I loved the bath tub that was on the private balcony... that's a unique touch. The room was quite big and also good space in the shower. Very clean and the are was also beautiful. Not around white sands and blue waters like other resorts, but the decor and restaurant is really great. They also offer free transport to the Ao Nam Mao Beach, but we didnt stay long enough to go.
Staff was amazing. I felt me really welcome. Room was super, super clean and new.
Even location was few km from Ao Nang beach, there was restaurants, fruit shops and 3 markets around.
Wi-fi was good and shower exellent.
Really recommend this hotel.
Complimentary coffee and snacks. Complimentary toast and jam for breakfast.
The rooms are really amazing very big and one of the best beds I slept in ever in a hotel. We had the jacuzzi suite a big bathroom with extra rainshower. The pool with spa function was huge, it was as long as an olympic bath in my opinion. We definitely recommend the resort for couples or people that like a quite holiday
The natural surroundings. It's not a beach resort.
You want calm and quiet surrounded by mountain on one side and the ocean on another plus lush green manicured garden, then this is the place.
It has 3 beautiful pools and excellent staff.
If you want the beach, you can take a hotel provided ride to Ao Nang beach.
Nice staff, they were helpful and when there was a lack of communication due to language barrier they use their phone to translate and communicate. Very nice view the restaurant next door was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. Clean and cozy hotel.
Hotel was a great value for the money!
Love this place. Stuff was so helpful this place is a small hotel -if you are looking for a wow fancy hotel- here is not for you..but if you are looking for a nice-- quiet--guilty --relaxed-- you could find it here. The Heaven View Krabi..
I just stayed here for one night but the hotel is lovely, as is the owner. The location might be great if you can use it as a base for trips to railay and phi en phi for example. It's cheap and comfy. The area itself isn't amazing though.
I loved the whole ambience, the pool, the view of the beach and the staff, they are the nicest!! Definitely recommend booking this hotel to everyone, who wants peace but also wants to be close to Ao Nang.
