Don't go to Bangkok and miss this fantastic place. Even on the weekdays the huge mall at the back of the market is open until quite late. The food court is excellent and if you're an Anime fan there are hundreds of shops to look around, plus lots of other wonderful cloths and home goods. The artificial flower section takes your breath away. So easy to get to on either of the rail lines that pass right next to the market. Oh and the adjoining park is so peaceful and relaxing. It's sad to see this mighty market a shadow of its former self. Only the front facing stalls still survive the Covid pandemic. The inner stalls have all shuttered. I went 3 times over 2 trips and the shops were still so few. The wholesale artificial flower shops were bustling though. Bought beautiful artificial flowers both times at great prices. Also ladies' clothes were very cheap. S$3 for each blouse! Hubby also bought iPhone cover and jeans.
