I have visited Turkey several times in the past, and I consider this visit exceptional, particularly because of my stay at this hotel (Antusa Design Hotel & Spa) for several reasons. These include the staff, starting with the reception team, the cleanliness and organization of the rooms, the calm atmosphere, and the ideal location for any tourist who wants to enjoy shopping and the unique experience of Turkish cuisine. The hotel also features a restaurant on the sixth floor that serves distinctive dishes at excellent prices. Additionally, they offer a Turkish bath and massage services at competitive prices compared to other places. They can also arrange transportation to and from the international airport at reasonable prices. My impression is very positive, and I highly recommend this elegant hotel to every tourist. It truly deserves a 5-star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👍🏻

Hagia Sophia

In 537 AD, Hagia Sophia began life as a church, before becoming an Ottoman mosque in 1453. The largest cathedral in the world for almost a thousand years, this majestic building is considered one of the finest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture. Today, you can go inside and explore both the colossal structure as well as its museum.

This was the most incredible part of Istanbul.

This was the most incredible part of Istanbul. Again ensure proper attire or you have to pay for covering. The interplay of Christianity and the Muslim faith, and neither chose to desicrate the other. Just be aware that you will only be able to visit the upper section unless you're a practising muslim.

Its a pity that such an UNESCO monument was turned into a Muslim Cami. And it is discrimination that all non Muslims cannot visit the whole area. As a Greek and orthodox I felt very sorry of the destructions of all the inside ( almost). This should be a museum open for all ,independent on their beliefs. Civilization is not looking into beliefs. Should be respected within centuries.

    Oh, what a delight.

Oh, what a delight. I’m an open minded Christian so I appreciate such a wonderful and special place is still in place. You have to admitted if it wasn’t the Muslims it (probably) shared the fate of Acropolis. Is a wonder it does not crumble during times. Really. I was not able to take two straight pictures in a row, such a marvel of architecture is it, patch after patch. Is not the Pantheon, is not Basilica di San Pietro, but is still there. I also have to appreciate they respect the history and prior faith and do not cover part of the old (Christinas) paintings.

The history is stunning and the main room is beautiful as well as the mosaics. However, I was underwhelmed considering they now charge to go in and you cannot go on the main floor (a result of it being turned into a mosque). Also the carpet choice doesn't help with the overall site. I think the other mosques were better. Also, there are LONG queues to buy a ticket and then queues to go in. I would recommend going to the Hagia Sophia experience museum (across the Obelisk) and buy tickets there.

Insanely long lines deterred us, although you can take great shot elsewhere. Whether you are a man or woman, you need to cover up. Ladies with shawl, long sleeves, and down to ankles. Men with pants and at least a t-shirt (no tank tops). Otherwise, no entry.

The hotel was in the center of the city with the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia within walking distances so it was nice to come and go to our hotel as many times during the day especially to avoid the strong sun. The hotel was cute and quaint with shared bathrooms. Definitely recommend for backpackers or solo travelers looking for a budget place to stay in the heart of the city with the tram right across the street. The owner was nice and very helpful, no hassle and created a stress free environment.

The location was very close to several tourist sites. It's between the Hagia Sophia/Blue mosque and Topkapi palace. The staff were extremely knowledgeable about the area, and helped us with basic tourist questions (how to put money on a train card, etc. ). The morning breakfast was amazing, and based out of a restaurant that we later had a fantastic dinner at. We did a tour that the hotel helped us book. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the nearest tram stop. All in all, I cannot praise them enough.

The best hotel in the Sultanahmet area. Everything was superlative, from the hotel's location near Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, to the cleanliness of the room, amenities, modern elevator and last but not least the friendliness of the staff (Met, Ahmet, Recep, the breakfast guys and the cleaning ladies). I will gladly return every time I come to Istanbul. Thank You Hotel is the perfect place for a comfortable and carefree stay in the heart of the famous Sultanahmet.

The apartment was a fantastic place to stay in Istanbul. It was spacious, cozy, and had everything we needed for our four day stay. The location was great, very close to the water, the tram stop, and several sites like the Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque. The hosts, Abuzer and Nur, were wonderful. They checked in to ensure we didn’t need anything, gave recommendations, and invited us for tea our first evening. They even shared watermelon and delicious scones on our last night! Overall, a 10/10 stay. Thank you for everything!

The hotel is the most convenient in the area of Istanbul Old city. Styly, cozy, elegant, ambient. Very good for business meeting as well as relaxing and close to all Old City sightseeings (20 minutes walk to Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque, 10 mins from Grand Bazaar). Very quiet isolates all outside noise, also sound isolation between rooms is very good. It is a very nice place, very good hotel.
