Touristic place were everything is extremely expensive.

Touristic place were everything is extremely expensive. At least they tell you that they’ll rip you, not like elsewhere. Very dirty. No bins to through away your garbage. You eat a snack while going taxim on foot? Just through it on the street. What can I say? Never seen this before. Everything dirty. Baklava? 1 kilo goes for at least 55 euros!!! And nothing significant to justify its price. Whatever. I won’t be back. Beware people.

    Taksim Square isn’t just a place — it’s a pulse.

Taksim Square isn’t just a place — it’s a pulse. Standing there feels like standing at the crossroads of the world. People of every background, every language, every style pass by — a kaleidoscope of faces and smiles, laughter drifting on the air like music. There’s a kind of beautiful chaos here: street performers, flags waving, the call of vendors, the clatter of trams. You don’t just visit Taksim — you feel it. We found our rhythm in its vibrant streets — hopping from one soulful meyhane to the next, sipping on raki and sampling grilled fish fresh from the Bosphorus. Those meals weren’t just food — they were celebrations. Of flavor, of friendship, of the moment. Around the table, we toasted to being together, to where we were, and to where we were going. Taksim gives you permission to be fully present. You can truly enjoy — and that’s what we did with close friends.

    Very busy place!

Very busy place! Better prices than Grand Bazar but very different variety. A lot of very steep walking slops, very hard to walk up or downwards. Must buy fresh Lavandar from an old woman sitting on the footsteps of a small mall!

Always - always check on your bags and watch and specially cameras. Wallets are never safe. Food is bad here. Sometimes, old as well. Too many thugs. I really like the vibe but not the place. Mostly touristy and fishy. Not recommended. Over priced as well.

It was wasy access to everything around taksim square , the bus station is a one minute walk from the residence. Also you notice that no one gets in unless they are residents there. The apartment was perfectly clean and everything was like the photos.

The room definitely exceeded our expectations. The room is big. They end up upgrading our room to 2 bedroom apartment instead of 1 bed room apartment. The staff are super friendly and helpful fulfilling our needs. The apartment has stove, 2 bath rooms, dishwasher and washing machine. The location is 5 minute walking distance from Taksim Square. From there, going to other places are easy.

We loved this luxury hotel & service. Receptionists, concierge & house keepers are super friendly and helpful. The hotel has a gym and art gallery, they’re using L’Occitane products in bathrooms which is definitely a plus. LOCATION is very strategic, inside Istiklal street and near to Taksim square. The most beautiful attractions in Istanbul.

The time spent in Istanbul and particularly at Element Garden Hotel met our expectations. We have booked the Junior Suite for 8 nights. The hotel has a very good location, very close to the busy Taksim Square, but is located on a quiet street. It is also close to the metro station and this helped us to reach the important spots in the city. The room was very spacious and cozy, it provided a very well equipped kitchen and also a clothes washing machine. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I traveled with my family and we stayed 5 nights in this hotel. This was one of the best hotels I've been to. Solely cause of the location, which was phenomenal! You will hardly find a better one in the center of Istanbul. It is only a 2-minute walk from Taksim Square, where all public transport stations are located, whether you go by metro or bus. We had a room directly facing the Galata Tower. Also, the staff is so friendly! Especially Mr. Muneeb and Mr. Ahmet. Next time we will return to the same hotel!

The apartment was just wonderful, and exactly as we expected it. The location was super convenient, since everything was close by: boats, trams, buses and taxi station. The beautiful area of Galata Port, as well as Taksim Square just ten minutes walk. The owner was extremely kind , friendly and helpful, the best host I have ever met on Booking.com or any other company. I am extremely grateful for a wonderful stay in Istanbul, and I will surely refer other Guests, and come back during my next stay in Istanbul. Thanks again!!!

Lovely place. Loyal & always reliable. ‘Fatih’ is exceptionally gracious. The ladies are nice as well. The location is fabulous right there in Taksim square. Most tour buses can either pick you up from there or just walk up to the end of the alley close to the big name Hotels. Definitely worth one full week in Istanbul.
