Hotels near MRT Xiangshan Station, Taipei

It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and looked new. The staff there was very helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious for three people. The location was good if you like to shop for high tech products as there are two digital malls and several small shops across the street. Sogo is about 20 min walk. Transportation was convenient with a subway station right next to the hotel. The taxi fare was very reasonable and it cost 200 NTD to go to Ximending. Overall the stay was amazing and we will definitely stay here again.

location, facilities and good people

I have stayed in quite a number of hotels, including 5-star hotels (I have lifetime elite status in a specific chain). The Evergreen Laurel hotel is easily the best among all the hotels I have stayed in. Every hotel I stayed in previously always have something that is not ideal but not this hotel. The beds are comfortable, room is brightly lit (which is a big plus and super rare), a lot of good amenities are provided in the room (increasingly rare in post-covid world), shower water pressure is good, the water temperature is easy to set and remains consistent and the sound-proofing is good - I did not hear any noise from my neighbors (the hotel is full). The location is fantastic as well - I stayed a total of 5 nights and every location I plan to go to is easily reached from the hotel, either by bus or metro. There are two metro stations nearby - Songjiang Nanjing on the green line and Zhongxiao Fuxing on the blue line. Both are within walking distance though the latter is slightly further. There are multiple convenience stores nearby, as well as a Watsons and a Carrefour supermarket. The famous Leechi is right next door. The housekeeping standard is impeccable as well. Oh ya there are also coin-operated washing and drying machines in the hotel. I will definitely be back again when I return to Taipei!

The breakfast changes daily. This was a big plus to try taiwan local dishes. It was only 1 mrt stop to the main taipei station. it was so convenient. The lounge was included in the hotel price and it was a good place to relax throughout the day to get any small refreshments. It is cozy just like the name of the hotel. I look forward to come back in the near future.
