This was hands down the best place to stay in Zanzibar! I was looking for somewhere quiet to relax with amazing sunset views, and this spot couldn’t have been more perfect. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the chef even taught me some Swahili! The staff were incredible: always friendly, attentive, and going out of their way to make sure everything was just right. It’s the little things that really stood out. On my last day, I had a late-night flight and was going to miss breakfast. Without me even asking, they packed one up for me to take on my trip. That kind of thoughtfulness says everything about how much they care for their guests. I’d 100% recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat if I get the chance to visit Zanzibar again!

Our stay at Mia Hotel in Zanzibar was nothing short of extraordinary. The location is simply perfect, offering breathtaking views of the beach that you could marvel at all day. The hotel itself is brand new, immaculately clean, and well-maintained, providing a sense of comfort and luxury at an incredibly affordable price. The pool was an absolute delight, a perfect spot to relax and soak in the serene surroundings. The rooms were spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Being close to both modern and local restaurants added convenience and variety to our stay, while the availability of guides at the gate made exploring Zanzibar effortless. The complimentary breakfast at Mia Hotel is unbelievable. It’s not just a meal; it’s a culinary experience that sets the perfect tone for the day. From freshly prepared dishes to a wide variety of options, every bite reflects the care and expertise of the hotel’s talented chef, Mudryk. It was one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had, and it’s included in the already affordable price – an incredible value! One of the most unforgettable aspects of our trip was the people of Zanzibar and Tanzania. They are some of the most lovable, kind, and welcoming people we have ever encountered. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine hospitality touched our hearts and made our trip truly special. The staff at Mia Hotel exemplified this spirit of kindness and dedication. Azad, the manager, is a standout professional who amazed us with his ability to handle every task we entrusted to him with precision and care. Sihan, another manager, showed the same level of commitment and attentiveness. Michael, a humble and incredible individual, won us over with his kindness and wonderful personality. Adolf, Ramson, Judith, Philip, and all the staff – were beyond words, consistently going above and beyond to make us feel at home. A special shoutout to Mudryk, the chef, whose culinary expertise left us speechless.

Everything. Beautifully made and run. Food is fantastic. Petra & Tomas are such amazing & friendly people. Their labour of love is the perfect place to unwind and have fun. Music, dance floor, darts, pool and a pool. The family bungalow with two rooms was perfect for our family of 3. Thank you Petra and Tomas for the wonderful stay.

    Fizemos uma reserva para o restaurante, que custa 20 dólares...

    Fizemos uma reserva para o restaurante, que custa 20 dólares no site, mas estava chovendo muito no dia e tentamos remarcar o horário. A equipe disse que não seria possível, pois não havia mais vagas. Vimos no site e teria vagas para reservar para o horário que gostaríamos. Quando mandamos o print, eles não responderam mais. Equipe péssima, experiÊncia péssima. Sem contar que o restaurante fica bem feio na maré baixa.

    It's very much hyped. Mostly for the location of course.

    It's very much hyped. Mostly for the location of course. We ordered few dishes and got them within 5 minutes so I'd say they're prepared before to handle guests flooding this place. To be fair take a few shots or even the boat ride but for the food go to the Baladin hotel few steps away. Food in there is so much better.
