Zanzibella is a piece of paradise. I have changed four different hotels to see the whole island and zanzibella was by far the best place I have stayed (I regret that I didn't stay more). The room I had was absolutely perfect with views at the pool and the sea, clean and huge. The food was delicious and in really reasonable / cheap price. The staff was always available to help with everything, educated and always with a warm smile. They had live music every night the time I stayed there. The music band's singer is the best voice I have ever heard and his show was amazing. The area of the hotel is very nice, you can see the real local life all around which makes this place unique. I never repeat countries but I could make an exception to come back here. A special thanks to the staff and their manager for the beautiful stay. I will miss you.

The entire stay was amazing. the place is so inviting and well decorated. the welcome coffee drink is a nice touch, We stayed in the Bourbon Suite and it was so spacious for 4 adults. The breakfast every morning was out of this world! so many options and so delicious. I LOVED the rooftop area to hangout and relax. Such a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at AVO Boutique Hotel. The beach right below the hotel was calm and beautiful – the perfect place to unwind away from the crowds. Our room was comfortable and always clean. One of the highlights was the food – every meal was delicious, so much so that we didn’t even bother eating anywhere else! The owner and the team were all super kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. It’s a quiet, cozy place with great vibes – we can't recommend it enough :)

We loved our stay at Pongwe Beach Hotel! We were looking for somewhere to relax after climbing Kilimanjaro, and it certainly delivered. The staff was amazing, the grounds were beautiful, and we chose the room with the private plunge pool and it was so worth it. The restaurant was great and always offered Western and local options for each meal. There was a Swahili buffet on Friday evening, which was delicious. The breakfast was a combination of self-serve fruit, bread and yogurts, along with made-to-order options that varied slightly each day. The hotel also helped us arrange a snorkeling/hand-fishing trip one morning from the beach for $20 USD per person. So fun! Would definitely recommend for a private, relaxing vacation.
