The location is central to a lot of downtown Austin and it is the main reason why we choose to stay there every time we come to Austin! Also, considering how close the Tommie is to 6th street, noise has never been an issue. Yes, we can hear some of the music, as it’s expected, but never to the point where sleep was interrupted. Lastly, we always consider safety and we continue to book with the Tommie because we feel safe there.

The staff was really great! They provide free water to Hilton honors members which was a HUGE plus! A full service Starbucks is in the lobby. A couple blocks from the hotel is Whole Foods and Target as well as 6th Street, if you want to hang out at bars.

I love the Hyatt House and I will definitely book there the next time I visit Austin! The amenities were great and we were a few blocks away from 6th street and many great restaurants and attractions. My husband, son and I did a quick weekend getaway and we had plenty of space in the room so that we were all comfortable. My son slept on the sofa bed and there was a full size TV for him to watch in addition to the one in the separated bedroom. There was also a full size kitchen with a bar.

Location was at the end of 6th street next to parking lots. Hotel also comes with valet if you need to park your car. We were only in Austin for a night so we used taxis and ubers during our trip. Across the highway is a Whole Foods and Target in case you need anything else. The hotel is also stocked with some toiletries and lots of snacks. The rooms came with a microwave which was great! The bed was comfortable, and it was interesting having a view of the inside the hotel.

The Line is a nice hotel from the moment we walked in. The elevators were small but they worked and were a cute color of Pink. The coffee shop was a nice touch in the mornings and the hotel was close to walk to the see the bats under the bridge and only a couple blocks in walking distance to 6th street. We did walk to Congress avenue for shopping which was a little bit of a walk but not bad. I would stay here again.

Close to everything downtown. 6th street is right there if that’s your night vibe. Short walk to the capital building. Food options all around. The room controls were awesome & unexpected in a good way. Overall unique & refreshing hotel experience!

We thankfully got a free upgrade due to a server sided error on their part, which gave us an upgrade into the Element rooms (sister hotel), which gave us free breakfast. The staff in the hotel were amazingly friendly and accommodating. It's a great location to be in, as it's right near 6th Street.
