Get yourself a guide to Boston or read up on some history and then wear your comfortable walking shoes. To walk around and then make your way back down the hill to the north end for Little Italy. Boston is such an easy place to walk if you learn how the streets are connected. It is not a grid such as NY it is more like two wagon wheel spokes where streets branch out . Turns out it was a great mistake booking! Location is right next to TD Gardens with a food hall. Location is about 15 minutes to Faneuil Hall area. Given this was our first time in Boston, we felt safe walking around and didn't use public transit at all. We even walked all the way to Beacon Hill / Newbury St. ! Bar is open late too!
