Need a public bathroom at the end of both sides to help the public out. Beware street floods bad and standing water in many areas. Shop at Shorty's and see Sloppy Joes for at least one drink but go find the Green Parrot!

Duval St. is a main street in Key West, however one Street over, which runs parallel to Deval is Whitehead St. The famous Hemming way house, a must see, is on Whitehead St. Which runs from the most Southern point in the US to the far end of Key West. At that end you will find the Fisher museum, another must see and the aquarium, glass bottom boat, jet ski rentals, plus many other attractions.

    Where the action is.

Where the action is. Great to just walk around or rent a bicycle/tricycle. They are pretty much given the right of way on the old town roads. Visit the Key Lime Store and eat some Key Lime pie. Go to the oldest Margaritaville and have one on the rocks. They make it special, and was the best we've had.

If you don’t like loud music and the smell of pee and puke, then this is not the place for you. Great music and great restaurants. Lots of people watching going on too. It’s like a tiny Bourbon St. Remember that it’s open until 4 am so pick your hotel wisely.

    Sleazy!

Sleazy! Thought shops would be quaint and 'boutique' but just tourist tat and lots of sleaze. Apparently turns into a big party in the evening. Probably best for young open minded people.... not really for families.

Walk on the shaded side of the street.

Walk on the shaded side of the street. The heat sweeps down the street like an oven. Many shops and many bars to visit. Bring your own water because it gets pricy. It is a fun day to walk around. Start by the Southernmost Point and go clear to the docks! We saw a shark and a manatee right off Duval Street dock area before an early morning excursion.

This location is perfect! It's so close to Duval Street and right around the corner from the marina which has amazing restaurants and bars! We loved to eat and watch the boats come in. It is also just across the street from amazing shopping. We walked everywhere! It was my first time in Key West and my husband's fourth. He has stayed at the Hyatt Centric in the past. This hotel and location will not disappoint!

The location is fantastic, very close to Duval Street and to everything old town Key West. Can't beat that. The architecture is nice, typical Key West style. Jacuzzi and pool are open 24 hours. Breakfast sin't mind-blowing, but sufficient. Coffee, tea and water are available all day until 10pm which is when the front desk closes. Rooms are spacious, even the small one is bigger than typical European hotel rooms. There's a Happy Hour every day from 5-7pm with free wine, cheese, and nuts.

Location was perfect, close to all of the action but quiet. Easy walk to Duval Street and Southernmost Point. Breakfast every morning is my new requirement during a hotel stay. Very sweet lady made omelets every morning t the poolside tiki bar-just enough to start your day. Front desk staff were exceptional and helpful. Weather was hot and humid so a dip in the pool every afternoon was really nice.

We loved our stay here! It is not down at Duval Street but we like to be a bit out of the party area. Very updated, clean and modern hotel. Amazing views from our room. The staff went above and beyond and had a bottle of champagne in our room for us. Breakfast was excellent each day. Free waters on every floor. We cannot wait to stay again!

Great room(s) with full kitchen. It was literally steps from Duval Street, with many shops and restaurants nearby. We were up a flight of stairs, and the apartment had a quaint balcony. The pool area was comfortable and surrounded by very tropical gardening. Secluded and private. We would certainly stay there again!

It was a tropical paradise! We loved the secluded setting, the pool, and the beautiful palm trees and tropical plants. The location was great, close to Duval Street, but it was very quiet and comfortable. It’s a place where you can fully relax. The apartment was small, like the size of a hotel room, but it worked fine for our family of 4. We loved it!
