It was wonderful! The first day we were there the line was two hours long to get at ticket and get on the boat. We went back early the next day at 9am and only had to wait a few minutes. It does not help to buy tickets online for this excursion.Guest review byGayle - 10.0

This will make your trip. Run toward the bow for maximum views...and drenching. The sound of the falls and the force of the "mist" (quaint little name, that, for the pounding pellets of water!) are magnificent. The line is very long. I wouldn't bet on the 15-minute wait they claim, and only one boat was running on the American side (funny how the Canadians were running multiples with much fewer crowds).Guest review byLive FunUnited States

We travelled that day from Michigan, via Ontario, Canada and got held up at immigration, so we arrived at the Falls at 4.55 pm exactly. All the excursions and spectacles were closed for the day. However, we walked around and explored all the things on offer that allow you to see the falls for free and decided we didn't need any maid of the Mist boat rides or Cave of the Winds. What we did, going up the viewing tower, walking across the bridge to frog island, was just perfect. The time at the falls --2 hours in the late afternoon/evening-- was perfect and cost me nothing.
