Love love love this area.
Love love love this area. Filled with tourists but it's so much livelier than the rest of the surrounding areas. There was always something interesting going on. If you like to people watch, this area is great! It's large so you can really plan a whole day around this area and hit all of the monuments. Have a picnic on the grass, look at the ducks and admire the duck ramps, go in and out of the surrounding museums, walk around sculpture gardens, etc. Would definitely go back! Also definitely go during the daytime but also during the night time. It's so pretty lit up.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is a safe walking distance to the National Mall. The Spy Museum is right in front and they have a metro station directly below the hotel. There are several places to eat by the metro if you are looking for something convenient and slightly cheaper than the hotel continental breakfast.
It is an amazing place, and although we stayed for just one night, the experience was really good.
Very good location, within walking distance to the Capitol, not so close to the National Mall, but you can get there by public transportation.
The staff was really friendly and polite, giving us all the instructions.
Breakfast was simple but good, with more options than you would normally find out in hotels in US.
The location of this hotel is absolutely ideal. It very literally has has a Metro station directly below it at Farrugut West. It is also just a few blocks directly north of the White House. Farragut Square park is directly across the street, and there are many food options around the whole area. It is also within very reasonable walking distance of the National Mall and everything surrounding it. The beds were also very comfortable.
The hotel is comfy, very clean, with an amazing decoration. People are friendly, the location is cool (near the metro, but we loved the scooters by Lime), there were good places to eat and a market too close, to easy to get all the monuments and the National Mall.
The room was clean, and there was a large kitchen with a full-sized fridge& freezer, a range, a microwave, and a small table. The location was close to the National Mall (Lincoln Memorial side) and the Metro. It was pretty much IN the GWU campus, and it felt safe and was easily walkable to either the Metro or to Smithsonian museums (20-ish minutes), the White House, etc. Perfect location and a very nice hotel.
Good location, a 25-minute walk from the National Mall. At first, I didn't like the hostel too much because I arrived at night, and everything was dark, but on the next day, I found the atmosphere to be very friendly. One very good thing is the possibility of leaving your luggage both before checking in and after checking out, which is very useful for tourists.
The service was great. The hotel is a historic building and the remodeling has preserved it's authenticity. The room was clean and was being cleaned daily. It is located on 20-30 minutes walking from the National Mall. It was a great experience and I would stay there again.
Locations is excellent, in the heart of Dupont circle, close to dining and public transportation, close enough to the National Mall, but away from the busy streets. bed was just ok, the room is very spacious and quiet. staff is fabulous! food at the hotel restaurant is excellent, a bit pricey but really good.
The hotel is located super close to the National Mall, so all the museums and monuments were easily reachable. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the beds were super comfy. This hotel is really cool and lively! Restaurant had great food.
