Facilities - this is a well equipped hotel. It has a no frills fitness room, laundry and pool. Very helpful staff with local knowledge. Good location for visiting White Sands and the world's largest pistachio. About 90 minutes to El Paso airport. Close to various restaurants, and the pizza place does half price pizza at certain times of the day.

The rooms were so nice and big. Even had a dishwasher. One of the shades for the window blocked out all the light. The pool was outdoors and nice. It was a salt water pool. The breakfast had lots of options. The staff was friendly and helpful.

    White Sands National Park is a good stop for a day.

    White Sands National Park is a good stop for a day. The visitor center was interesting. The boardwalk trail was closed so that was disappointing. It was very hot when we were there so we didn't attempt any other hikes/walks. It looked like the kids using the sand sleds were having a good time however it makes it difficult to get a photograph of the pristine sand without tracks. It would be nice to limit the location where this is allowed near the road.

    The breakfast was a good continental breakfast and enough to start the day...hard boiled egg, cereal, and banana. The location made it easy to get around Alamogordo, and easy to get to White Sands National Monument (just 13 miles east).
