the suites are in a beautiful nature reserve at the outskirts of mindo. it’s very quiet and you feel like you are in the middle of the forest (which in a sense you are). lots of birds and other wildlife. the suites are new, clean, and feature a private heated pool. there are only three suites so the operation is small. the attention given to guests is extraordinary, and we felt very well taken care of. Antonio made sure we got what we needed for breakfast (delivered every morning to the suite) and drove us to and from town when we needed it (it’s an 8 minute walk but great to have a ride late at night). JuanPablo helps with tours of all kinds. he owns the property next door and is super nice and organized great tours for us. we really felt very special and it was an extraordinary stay. very highly recommended.

Beautiful location surrounded by lush vegetation with birds and flowers everywhere. Our room had a private porch and was quiet and comfortable.

Operated by it's owner, Las Terrazas de Dana offers a restaurant and is located 0.7 mi from Mindo. Guests can also enjoy a bar, tour desk, and free WiFi throughout their stay.

The breakfast was fantastic!! The room was also amazing with a jacuzzi. I worked from my room for two days and the the WiFi was surprisingly capable.

The canañas were rustic, but very comfortable. It was great to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirping and to watch the hummingbirds flying around during breakfast. It was close enough to town but at the edge so things were nice and quiet. Everyone who worked there was super nice as well. It looked like they had more modern rooms available, too, but I think the wooden Cabañas were great. Overall, a wonderful time.

Everything was great. The cabin was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff is really nice and helpful. The views from the territory of the lodge are wonderful.

10/10 this place is great. The people are really friendly and helpful. The building is pretty cool too and the showers are hot, there are hammocks on deck to sit and watch the wildlife too. The breakfast is good and varied. We have been helped with tours, taxis, local information, anything we needed they are happy to help. Really great place, we would definitely return here. 😀

I booked a stay at Casa Colibrí for my girlfriend and I’s one year anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. When we arrived, we found “Feliz Aniversario” spelled out in rose petals on the bed. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made the night feel really special. Mariela was incredible and went above and beyond. She was at our beck and call for anything we needed, and her attention to detail made the whole experience seamless. On top of that, everything was absolutely immaculate. The property is spotless and beautifully maintained. This was exactly the romantic, memorable experience I was hoping for, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. I cannot recommend this property enough!
