“A very interesting place in that it consists of rooms clustered around a lanai, a partly covered outdoors eating and hanging out area that typifies the Hawaiian genius for eliminating the border between indoors and out. The lodge has far more character and charm, in its way, than most hotels. The decor was interesting and unusual, and the fridge was a big help.”
“The location of the Lodge is just awesome, right in the middle of the sweet little town Paia, Hana Highway is through the town anyways so you can just take a left and you are on it! We loved the lodge, it has all you need and there’s a nice little cafe tight next to it, so perfect for breakfast!”
“Very friendly lodge right in the middle of Paia. Parking was a bonus although there aren't enough spaces for all rooms (this is noted in the property description). Jordan set up a movie night in the Tiki Bar one of the nights that we were there which was most enjoyable. Loved Paia and would not hesitate to recommend Nalu Kai as the place to stay!”
“The lodge is situated right in the heart of Paia so getting around is easy. The room is basic but clean and tidy and has everything you need. Shared BBQ and seating area is good and theres a patio upstairs for sunbathing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was available onsite every day apart from first day but we just parked in the public carpark round the corner. Paia itself is an awesome little surf town. Shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches. Full of character. Would stay here again.”
“Very friendly lodge with cosy rooms. Very easy self check in and SUPER LOCATION+++ next door is the wonderful Paia Cafe, brilliant breakfasts- try their bagels and banana bread. We loved Paia!”
