    We did not partake in breakfast since it was coffee, a muffin, and fruits. The staff, especially the manager went above and beyond to help us with our lodging. We had been expected to arrive a day earlier, i.e., 28 June instead we got there on 29 June. The only way he could solve the problem, but give us the same rate, was to start a new booking. I would then need to contact Booking.com to let them know that they would need to cancel the original booking, i.e., 28 to 30 June ( Confirmation # 3079626315 and Pin # 4302).

    The mid September time of year seemed to be perfect for our visit, from the weather to the low crowds in the area. My husband was able to play a round of golf at Sea Island and enjoyed the course, lunch at The Lodge and a knowledgeable Fore Caddy. I enjoyed the complimentary bikes for a ride in the mornings before work. We rode to East Beach to walk our dog at sunset two nights and treasured those times as well. Staff and grounds were excellent. Breakfast was hot and tasty, with two attendants quick to replenish and serve guests.

    First trip to the East coast beaches, St. Simons Island...I booked here because I was panicked about getting a place to stay. Everything was booking up quickly. We SCORED!! We couldn't have asked for a better location or a nicer facility. We walked to the place that I thought I really wanted to stay and was so happy that I chose Ocean Lodge!! My husband even complimented me on my panic purchase!
