Nimbo Fork Lodge is situated near Brungle, 23km from Tumut and 17km from Gundagai. Free private parking is available on site. The non-smoking rooms are equipped with a seating area. It is in a beautiful setting. The restaurant is excellent and rooms are very comfortable.

Boonoona Ski Lodge is located at Perisher within Kosciuszko National Park. It has 14 rooms ranging in size from double to seven-berth. A big thanks to the manager who was super helpful through out my stay. Dinner was amazing, far beyond other ski lodges I stayed near by. The property was immaculately clean and extremely well maintained for a building at it’s age.

Featuring spectacular views over Lake Jindabyne and the mountains, Troldhaugen Lodge - Adults Only offers boutique, European-style accommodation comprising modern rooms with stylish bathrooms and... Extremely friendly staff who gave us a lot of advice on things to do and made us feel very welcome. Also the entire hotel was nicely decorated and the common areas in particular are very nice. Breakfast is also good.

Located in the remote northern section of Kosciuszko National Park, off the Snowy Mountains Highway, Yarrangobilly Caves House offers a year-round thermal pool, barbecues and a picnic area. Beautiful and peaceful location. Loved the caves and the nature walks. Wife also really enjoyed the place. The staff was able to help us off-hours and allowed us to check in even though we missed the 5PM check in time. However, you definitely should call the property and let them know if you know you are not going to make it. They can leave keys outside for your to self-check in. The entire house was heated during winter time which was wonderful.

Located around 500 metres from Perisher Ski Resort lifts, Valhalla Perisher offers ski lodge style accommodation with a fireplace and stunning views across the Perisher Resort. It's an extremely warm cozy cottage seating at an upslope of the hill. It's run by a friendly family, and we were overwhelmed by their hospitality every single day there. Mike and Kylie ran the hotel so well that we felt we were no longer individual guests in a hotel, rather members of a small community where people meet, chitchat, game and share. Both breakfast and dinner were provided, which were hearty, sumptuous and delicious. With this arrangement, we didn't have to worry about what to eat before and after the ski. The room is clean and with big comfortable bed. Although the Wifi signal was not so good at my room, after a long day ski, satisfying dinner and some games downstairs, we really didn't spend much time on our phone in our room. We were not really bothered by that. Every morning, my kids ski out to the ski facility, and afternoon, we took the oversnow transport (get the free transfer coupon from the hotel) back to the hotel. No sweat. My kids kept telling me they would like to go back and stay in the same hotel next time. I guess there's no stronger endorsement than this. Lol.

Altitude 1260 is a family-run lodge located on over 255 acres of natural bushland. The property boasts breath-taking panoramic views from Lake Jindabyne through to the mountain peaks of Kosciuszko. It exceeded my expectations in every way. Breakfast was simple but delicious.... and a great start to the day. Eggs were done perfectly and the view from the breakfast room is simply unbeatable. The evening meal was awesome, and the hosts amazing. The small bar at the end of the evening was a great place to hang out. Managed to see wombats, deer, wallabies and emu all the same day.

Bernti's Mountain Inn is located in the ski and mountain-biking destination of Thredbo, in Mount Kosciuszko National Park. To sum up our stay in Bernit's: all was perfect... nice place, well equiped and very friendly staff. Sure to stay there again the next time we'll go to Thredbo...
