Maria Hau was extremely friendly and the house is comfy and clean. Location is close to downtown and quiet at night. We accidentally left a water bottle on her car when she drove us to airport and she rushed to the airport and gave it back to us right before we were about to board - extremely helpful and we really appreciate the help!

The outside and inside lounge areas are great and there is even a full kitchen available. The view is unbeatable (sun-rise, sunset)as well and it is walking distance from many restaurantes, cafes, markets and so on.

Mataveri International Airport is 5 km from the property, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. Great staff, enjoyed the pool as it can get hot, very relaxing. You may want to rent a car or take taxis as it is a longer walk into the center.

location was amazing right you can watch the incredible sunsets right in front of the moai statues. The cabana was two floors plenty of space. Beds were comfortable . Staff was extremely helpful . Value was great too

Tahai's archeologic ceremonial center is a 5-minute walk away and the downtown is just a 10-minute walk. Excellent hosts, always smiling, always ready to help. Went out of their way to make us feel at home. Came to the airport to pick us up and dropped us off. Drove us to the market and nearby restaurant and arranged tour guide. Extended check out time, provided extra towels, always answers any questions with a smile that never wavered. Kudos to the hosts! The location was great, easy walk to City center, spacious room and good kitchen.

Also, Patricia is super considerate and lovely. She helped me book the tours when she knew that I booked the trip last minute at a very busy season and needed help with the tour plans. When she knew that I forgot my charging blocks, she gave me two. Super helpful! I would recommend it to everyone that visits easter island.

I only had 1 night on Easter Island (RapaNui) but what a great place to stay ! Carla the host, picked me up from the airport and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. I also took up the offer of using one of their cars as rental for 24hrs. A must do to give you the freedom to drive around yourself. The property was fantastic. Quiet, clean, comfortable with open views to the coast. And the night sky (if clear) - wow ! Thanks Carla for a memorable stay 🙏😀

We like to stay in this Lodge. We talk to Mahina she make us feel like Aloha home. Everybody was so nice. The Man who pick us up with a big smile and warm welcome with Lei. From the back door we can walk to everywhere the best location.
Everything, hosts fantastic, rooms spotless. Everything I would expect with a lodge on Easter island.
There was enough space to comfortably unpack clothes and toiletries so we could feel settled. Breakfast was varied and abundant. All the staff were so warm and friendly offering restaurant advice and recommended an excellent tour group to make our stay memorable. We even rented their car for the day to see the rest of the island on our own which made it so con. Definitely a well-outfitted lodge to make our stay seamless.
We loved our stay at Takarua Lodge! The staff was so friendly, breakfast was amazing, and the location can't be beat! It's a little bit outside the main drag, but we preferred that. Super close to the museum and Tahai is in your backyard. A short 10 min walk across Tahai and into the heart of town.

Great place with extremely helpful owners! Located in the center of the island gives to an option to be on a beach oa in the city in 15 minutes with a car (that you can conveniently rent at the lodge- highly recommended as the price is fair and you greatly minimize the paperwork;) in the night it is silent and perfect place for stargazing! And don't forget about a juicy pineapples!
1. The location of the lodge is fantastic. Just beside the coast way and moai just on the coast. 2. A very friendly staff who help you everything upon request. 3. There is airport transfer. A good and pleasant stay. Definitely will come back again.
