This felt like a very special place. Everyone has their own cabin with fire place should you need to warm up. There’s a long walk you can do through the jungle from the hotel which was really nice. The staff were really helpful when it came to getting taxis around, but a lot easier here to have a car.

We had an amazing time at Yatama and met Pedro and Ethan, who where great guides and persons. Thanks again at the whole time for this wonderful experience in the middle of the jungle :)

Peace Lodge se nachází 1 hodinu jízdy od San Jose ve Vara Blanca. Nabízí krytý bazén, restauraci a Wi-Fi zdarma. The room was amazing with a ridiculously epic view and a jacuzzi in the balcony too! Our bathroom was just incredible with a bath, a shower and a separate waterfall shower. The view and location is breathtaking. It’s secluded enough to make you feel slightly off the grid and the scenery is beautiful. There are some amazing plants to see and plenty of humming birds flying around that make the experience magical. Whoever designed this hotel has put a lot of thought into detail and must have loved nature. There are waterfalls at the property which cannot be missed.

The cabin and the property is simply beautiful and clean. The pool and views are amazing and the owner is very friendly. Can only recommend it.

LOVED this place. hosts are super attentive. place was exactly as described. lovely view down over the valley and the river which is AMAZING to cool off in and provided hours of entertainment for the kids. fantastic front porch area, fully functional kitchen. and TAKE THE TOUR as it's a really fascinating insight into vanilla production from the (or one of the) first producers in Costa Rica (i had kids duty and missed out on some of the details)

The owners and staff couldn’t have been more helpful organizing tours. The cabins were rustic but charming and the landscape was breathtaking.

Quiet, authentic hotel on the edge of town. Lots of space for short hikes and looking for birds and other animals. Owners and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Dinner on site after a busy day was a retreat and enjoyed immensely.

We booked last minute so missed out on the evening Bat Tour. If you go be sure to book this in advance. Otherwise you don't need a tour. The place is amazing with all of the wildlife - actually not on the trails but close to the rooms. The trails are lots of fun and the hanging bridges espescially.
