Příště bychom se ubytovali znova a na delší dobu. Do města jsme šli pešky večer a nebylo to daleko. Recepční nám poskytla vyčerpávající informace. Dala nám mapku a vysvětlila několik možností, co Monteverde nabízí. Pokoj byl velmi čistý a prostorný.

It's 20 minutes from town down narrow, steep, winding dirt roads, so make sure you have a car. Watch the video to understand the last road, which look like it goes nowhere. The place is at the end of that "road." Beautiful views from the dome. There's a decently equipped kitchenette, and oil and coffee are provided. Best place I ever stayed. And Carlos is so nice.

It was totally lovely. I would definitely stay there again. Everything was clean and in great condition. Beautiful view from on high of the ocean. The workout equipment was nice too since we had a lot of rain while we were there.

The location was very convenient to everything in Uvita. The facility was clean. Well furnished. Kitchen had most of our needs. Lovely pool and lovely setting. The grounds were beautiful.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Something deeper in the jungle yet close to Uvita and the coast. Just the peace and quiet and closeness to Nature I needed. And the cabin has no glass windows, just screens, so you can hear the music of the jungle very clearly. Nights were spectacular. I loved falling asleep to the symphony of the the surrounding wilderness and waking up to the sounds of roosters and howler monkeys (: The property has access to a river and mini waterfall which was very tranquil and serene. The drive to the cabin was a fun little adventure in itself and 4x4 is recommended. The hill that leads down to the cabin is ultra steep but you have the option to park atop the hill and walk down which is a short jaunt. The host, Wouter, was amazingly attentive, personable, and chill. He would always respond to my questions/ messages quickly. You could not ask for a better host. I can recommend Loft del Rio with total confidence and rate it a perfect 10. If you are looking to experience an immersive jungle experience that is also close to the coast, this is it.

Jungle Living Tree Houses se nachází v destinaci Monteverde Costa Rica a nabízí zahradu a terasu. Nedaleko se nachází Monteverde Butterfly Gardens a Monteverde Ecological Sanctuary. This property was gorgeous in and amongst the cloud forest of Monteverde. The balcony was amazing and lovely to sit and watch the wildlife. It was clean and tidy and very cosy at night. The bed was comfortable, and the panoramic views of the forest through the windows made for a great view for your morning coffee. The location was great a short walk into town but a bit of a steep walk but up however only a $5 taxi ride! The staff were incredibly friendly - Edwin welcomed us, showed us around and even booked us on zip lining tours and night tours ! I would highly recommend!

It is a unique experience to spend two days with family in a large cabin on a farm with a very nice view. The cabin is well equipped and lighted, much better than other cabins we stayed in the US parks. We made breakfast from the supplies in the room. Host Jose is super friendly and helpful. In the evening when we arrived, I got my car stuck in the mud, and he and his mom helped to pull it out. I would suggest a 4WD SUV when visiting Monteverde. Highly recommended.

This is a gem of a place which we highly recommend! El Sol enjoys magnificent views of the hills down to the plain being situated a couple of miles out of town where it is definitely warmer, sunnier and less wet. There are interesting gardens (plenty of birds) and a super pool area where you can swim, relax and watch the sunset in the evening. There are six different cabins, we stayed in three, all laid out with anything you might need with sunny views, one with a jacuzzi perched over the valley. The breakfast is superb and supper is available being tasty and convenient after a long day of sightseeing, alternatively there are plenty of suggestions to eat out. . Nothing is too much for Javier and Sian and their happy team. We liked El Sol so much that on our last night in Costa Rica we checked out of another hotel and came back to El Sol instead!
