Absolutely gorgeous setting, high up above the village of Hope and close to the ascent to Win Hill. This little cabin is located on a charming hillside, with sheep and lambs coming up to the gate to say hello. Very idyllic and quiet at night (save for the bleating lambs!) with a gorgeous view south across the valley. There is a little barbecue and outside seating area to take it all in. The cabin itself is compact, but clean and with everything you need for a quirky couple of nights' stay. Would absolutely book again.

Harrogate International Centre is 38 km from the lodge, while Lightwater Valley Theme Park is 38 km from the property. The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford International Airport, 39 km from The Sett on The Wharfe. Stayed there for three nights, working remotely until afternoon and then going hiking. There are a lot of nice hikes nearby - including a trail that starts just on the other side of the river. Car is necessary for access and for trails further away, but it's easy to find and has plenty of space to park. There are multiple dining options and a small grocery store just a short walk away. The place itself is lovely - beautiful peaceful location with amazing view, well kept facilities and delicious breakfast with enough options to try something new each morning. You can also meet local wildlife - birds, squirrels and local cats were frequent visitors on the balcony, deer and sheep wandering about in the distance. We also took a dip in the Wharfe, which I highly recommend to everyone who can handle the chilly water!

Located in York, just 22 km from York Minster, JJs Lodge Lakewood provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and free WiFi. Set 23 km from York Railway station, the property offers a bar and free private parking. The whole lodge was amazing, lovely walk around, the jacuzzi was amazing

The lodge offers a barbecue. Ideal location for walks and the bluebell hut was beautiful. The hot tub and views were stunning! They also provided birthday decorations which were lovely. Couldn't recommend more

York is 33 km from the lodge. The nearest airport is Humberside Airport, 62 km from the property. Beautiful little place, nice and quiet, the lodges are so luxurious, i cannot recommend enough and the owners are fantastic.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy a continental breakfast. This place was all really good. The owner was very helpful but not obtrusive, the facilities were spotless and of a very good standard. Would definitely recommend to others.

There is a shared well-equipped kitchen at guests' disposal plus the Roost lounge/dining room with retro games console and wood burning stove for those cosy nights in. Bathroom facilities are shared, both Daisy Roundhouse and Bluebell lodge have their own ensuite private toilet. To say we had a wonderful stay, would be an understatement! Wendy was so welcoming and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The grounds are beautiful, very quiet and you really feel like you're in a little oasis, away from the city. The cabin we slept in was lovely, with cute decorations and there was tea and coffee available. Wendy gave us lots of tips to discover York as well! We only met Andrew on the last day of our stay but he was just as lovely as Wendy! I couldn't recommend Acorn Glade enough if you're looking to relax away from the city and feel like you're in your own little nature bubble. I could write 3 more paragraphs about how amazing our stay was with Wendy and Andrew, but I'll leave it at this :)
