I really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also close to restaurants and the monkey forest. In short, I was very happy to stay here in Ubud. I will come back again next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Kubuhill Sunset Bungalow in Nusa Penida and can highly recommend it! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. Renting a scooter directly at the accommodation was super easy, making it simple to explore the island at our own pace. We also loved the location: it’s just a short walk to Vegan Soul Kitchen, one of the best restaurants on Nusa Penida, and the sunsets from the bungalows are absolutely magical. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained — with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Thank you to the whole team — we’d love to come back!

It's like a tranquil gem set at the foot of hills and trees. We really enjoyed our stay here. Michael and all the staff were so welcoming and nice. Totally feels like home. Here, all the guests interact like long time friends. There were several activities or discussions you can join, but if you prefer to do things on your own, that's OK too. This place also offers a yoga course as well. Staying here truly refreshed our mind. Since we did a road trip from Jakarta, we could have a great relaxation just by laying in bed doing nothing here. At night we did stargazing and I swear the stars were sparkling so exquisitely! Even my friend who stays in South Bali said that she was only seeing 1 star at the time I sent her the picture of the sky above us! Overall, you should give this place a try while staying around Menjangan.

A real immersion in nature, a very calm and relaxing place to stay with a Balinese family. The hosts are lovely and cook very well with produce straight from their garden. They are very generous and welcoming. I really recommend this little hidden gem.

We loved the place overall, the surroundings, the loving staff, and their delicious home-made food! We spend our Christmas time there with our 2-year-old son, and they made the holiday for us extra special. We felt like home and we definitely want to come back again someday. nengah, iluh and putu john made our stay there unforgetable.

Vodopád Tegenungan se nachází jen 31 km odtud. special thanks to the friendly and lovely hosts we met - Gede, the dad, and uncle - during our 2 night stay. we booked 2 rooms side by side that opened into lush greenery and mount agung in the distance. rooms were big (great affect on wellbeing, surprisingly). very clean, no dust even on the ceiling fan and on the floor under the bed (something fell under the bed so i had a look). comfy bed. great sleep. breakfast is served around 8-9am and brought to your terrace. imagine sipping on coffee with a magnificent view in front of you. warm water may run out if you take long showers. soap, shampoo provided. no issues with wifi. aircon works in case it gets warm in the day. but with the chilly weather at night there was no need for aircon. hairdryer available. if you want to hire driver to bring you up to Besakih, you can ask Gede (host) who speaks both indo and english. he will bring there and wait for 1.5h until you are done. he brought us to a restaurant for lunch after - it had an amazing view of rice terraces! and then we swung by a mini mart for magnum ice cream afterwards as the day grew warmer. for dinner, i’d highly recommend Warung Ibu Ida which is 5 minutes walk away. managed by a lovely grandma who makes amazing home cooked dishes. amongst others, get the curry chicken (comes with rice), and u must try her pisang goreng for dessert.

This is one of my top 5 guest houses anywhere in the world (I have been to over 140 countries) when I arrived my breath was taken away the setting is breathtaking. The huts are incredible comfortable, clean and wait until you see the bathroom WOW!!!! But what really sets this place apart is the kind family. Grandma what an incredible women she made my stay so much fun I really really can say it wouldn’t have been the same without her. Always smiling always caring and always there when you need something. Grandma took me on an incredible walk in the village to meet all her family and friends and they were so friendly as are all of the village. She is also taking me to a ceremony tomorrow on the rice field Secondly made always smiling and always helpful and so nice to chat to. Also Kiki who liaises on bookings he is so responsive and forever helpful (grandmas son) what a talent to turn the farm into a wonderful homestay. Finally the driver madie great to driver around with and we went on some nice adventures. Dont hesitate to book if you want to see the real Bali and have a peaceful and restful time.
