We had an amazing stay at Ariel Bungalows. Anya and his family are so kind and welcoming. The food was always delicious and the surroundings are so beautiful. We did the walking tour with Anya and it was great - he knows so many people in the local area so we could stop and help harvest the rice, have local coffee etc. Our stay was my highlight of our time in Indonesia. The room is simple but comfortable and clean. The shower is hot. After being in the very hot humid Gili islands we were worried about not having aircon but the temperature in Tetebatu is very nice and cool in the evening. There are also not many mosquitos.

The room is well prepared and in local interior design. He also sent my kindle forgot in the room after check out by express - though the fee of driver to the express office are much more expensive.

A bicycle rental service is available at the lodge. I had a wonderful stay at The Cove. The property is located in a quiet area with coconut trees all around. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful. The bed also happens to be very comfortable as well. There's an outdoor kitchen with an actual swing at the bar ( how unique). The pool is fabulous and even has a little cave built into it. The host always responded promptly to my texts as well and even came to meet me at my previous villa to help with luggage. I would definitely rent this villa on next visit to Gili Air. There's also a cute cafe nearby with delicious desserts and coffee.

With garden views, Aranka Tempasan is situated in Sangyang and has a restaurant, a kids' club, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Very nice team managing the place, accommodating and attentive to their guest’s need and comfort. The view is just stunning and peaceful.

Tucked away from the main road, the property is nicely situated right at the foot of the hill. Rooms are pretty basic, showers are hot at the turn of the tap and breakfast is damn good. All the staffs are very friendly and helpful. A sprucing up will do good for the property but otherwise it still has an exotic charm in its own right.
