The log cabin had really everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. Really a home away from home. The breakfast each day was really fantastic, such a variety of delicious local foods. The location was isolated but the amenities provided were excellent.

Situated in Nakijin in the Okinawa region with Nakijin Gusuku Castle nearby, Okinawa Freedom features accommodation with free private parking. A beautiful property with great views of the jungle and ocean. It is a little out of the way but google maps will get you there just fine. The room was spacious and clean and you can tell lots of care is put into maintaining the property. The owners were very kind and welcoming. Also we got to pet their cats! :)

With mountain views, Nangoku Lodge Booya is situated in Onna and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. Our hosts Yuika, Atsunori, Abby and Johnny were so lovely. Yuika helped me coordinate a meeting with my cousins who only speak Japanese,she also called and made a reservation for us at a very authentic Okinawan restaurant. If this wasn’t enough, she and her husband, Atsunori surprised our daughter with a delicious cake for her 18th birthday. The property is well cared for, and comfortable. The breakfasts were well planned and tasty. We also loved the tatami mats in the master bedroom. The other bedroom has three twin beds. Having their fur babies around made us think about our puppies. They also have 6 cats that stay outside in the nice backyard. The location is not far from restaurants or stores. We highly recommend Booya! ❤️

I had a wonderful stay at this resort in Miyakojima. The morning buffet was consistently delicious, with an impressive range of local dishes alongside Western and Asian options. The white sand beach is stunning and literally just steps from reception. Perfect for an easy swim or sunset walk. The staff were impeccable, considerate, thorough, and genuinely attentive throughout my stay. The villa was beautiful, superbly furnished, and felt thoughtfully designed for comfort. Amenities were plentiful and readily available, which made everything feel effortless. The location is also ideal if you’re after a proper island getaway. Quiet, scenic, and relaxing. Highly recommend.
