It was clear that they value people more than money, which made the experience feel so genuine and heartfelt. The breakfast was also really delicious and freshly prepared. From the moment we arrived at the property, we felt welcomed and at home. With panoramic mountain and garden views from the terrace and spacious common areas, it’s a serene retreat only about a 15–20 minute walk from Kandy’s city center and major attractions. Our communication with the Punya was excellent and she helped as arrange scooter rental and catered to every need we had! One of the true highlights of our stay was Ravi, the most incredibly warm, kind-hearted, and attentive host—and an exceptional chef. From the moment we arrived, Ravi went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, treating us not just as guests, but as family! It’s rare to meet someone who puts so much heart into their work—Ravi truly is the soul of this villa! During our month-long journey across Sri Lanka, we stayed in many places—but No63 Amy’s Villa in Kandy was by far the best accommodation of them all! Can’t recommend it enough!!

Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

This place was just amazing, best part of our Sri Lankan road trip! It’s situated high up in the mountains with beautiful views and no people around. It’s so peaceful. I wish we could stay for weeks. The cottage is so comfy and well equipped. Erik, the owner, is great. He speaks really good English, always replies right away and organises anything you need. We had an old car and had hard times driving in the mountains so he organised parking spot for as and tuk to take us to the cottage. He also organised great guides to take us to Knuckles five peak trek. There is a dog Rocky who is super cute and friendly, making sure you’re safe during your stay. I highly recommend to order rice and curry too, it was so delicious!

It’s in a hilly area with a rural feel to it and so local walks are pleasant if you want to take a break from the city.
