We loved everything about this place and its surroundings. Great place for both one night stayover or for longer holiday.

The property features mountain and river views, and is 13 km from Piteå Golf Club. This was the perfect winter wonderland getaway over new years. The location is amazing on the top of a snowfield. We had it all to ourselves, and we could see the fireworks in the city from the comfy bed. The sauna was an amazing experience and perfect for some relaxation Everything was very well organised and the staff were very helpful. I couldn’t recommend this place and more for a real winter escape

Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, skiing and fishing. This property is absolutely beautiful and in such a remote but stunning setting. Would recommend a car but we had no issues with the roads despite the snowfall. We stayed only one night with our two daughters (4,2) and found everything as we needed. The house itself is beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. We spent the morning enjoying the snow and taking advantage of the kicksleds and sleds that were available that the kids absolutely loved. Lots of opportunities to spot wildlife too although we unfortunately didn’t spot any local roaming Moose. Look forward to returning. The host was super attentive and was on hand if needed.

Ideally located with great views, the kitchen is perfectly equipped. The hosts are very nice and helpful but also respecting your privacy. Simply paradise!

Bike hire is available at the property and the area is popular for cycling. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including fishing and canoeing. During winter, active guests can enjoy snowmobile safaris, snowshoeing and driving cars on ice. In the woods and quite amazing.

Offering rooms with a lake view and modern furnishings, this property is 22 km from Kiruna and 35 minutes’ drive from Nikkaluokta. It features a cosy, bookable restaurant cabin with a personal chef. WiFi and parking are free. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.
