Situated in Vargön, just 19 km from Vänersborg Train Station, Strandnära Stuga Vänersnäs features beachfront accommodation with free bikes, a garden, a private beach area and free WiFi. We stayed in this lovely little rental house for three weeks in December 2025 and were very satisfied with both the accommodation and the hospitality. The house was cozy, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to feel at home for a longer stay. Everything worked well, and the space was comfortable and practical. The hosts were especially wonderful—very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They were easy to communicate with and always helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything, while still fully respecting our privacy. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would not hesitate to return ourselves

The lodge consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a kettle, and 1 bathroom with a shower and a hot tub. Towels and bed linen are featured in the lodge.

At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. A terrace is available on site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of Bara Vara Garden. The old house is very well renovated with old style décoration which makes it really cosy. The area is extremely calm with a few deers in the fields next door. The bath tub is a plus. The owner is extremely kind.

This lodge features a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. Very big and comfortable terrace, perfect when the weather is nice. Short distance to Kristinehamn with all its facilities.

Friendly staff who provided smooth check-in for us at late night with an ad-hov booking. Not to mention the unbeatable price we got. Great surroundings and clean interior.
