It felt like being in the middle of the jungle, but with the jungle come insects — so if you don’t like that, you should choose a room instead, which she also offers.

It was comfy, clean, hospitable, and really integrated with nature. It’s close enough to everything, but also a bit off the beaten path. It felt like a little quiet getaway and it suited me perfectly.

Walked 10 steps to restaurant - great food options Thai/French - everything was delicious and good size/value for money. Rooms air conditioned with electric hot water showers that had great water pressure. So quiet and relaxed. Family run business - they were helpful and attentive - drove us down the road to motorcycles when all theirs were booked out. Honestly this place was the highlight of our 3.5 week holiday.

The beach is partly rocky (great for snorkeling with new corals), but the water is crystal clear. Amazing value for money – pure chill on a laid-back island. Highly recommend for a calm getaway! 🌴🏖️🍤

Featuring a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar, Cigare Bamboo Hut is located in the Saladan district of Ko Lanta Yai, only 600 metres from Klong Khong Beach. The atmosphere was so nice! Loved the outdoor shower and the cozy feeling in the hut. Breakfast was very good!
