Guest can enjoy nightly sunsets from our small beach and fishing pier. The hosts are very warm and they really make efforts to make guest feel welcome and try their best to accommodate their needs. We needed beach towels in the morning for the tour on the day of our arrival, and they very kindly provided the towels before our check in in the afternoon when we passed by the hotel. And staff is always smiling and you can feel the genuine sincerity and welcome. Rooms are very clean.

A barbecue is available on site and canoeing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. The balcony all around the house with the grill is amazing for nice warm evenings! Also really appreciated the possibility to rent the kajaks on the channel behind the house for free and go on little river tours with them. Also, the two gators <3

The cottage was beautiful and the thoughtfulness of little things was great. There was everything you needed and more. Well laid out and the porch was lovely.

A refrigerator is provided in each room at Sugarloaf Lodge. A flat-screen cable TV is also provided. Bathrooms are complete with towels and free toiletries. Great location for our family trip through the Keys. We stayed as a party of 7 and had 3 rooms, all with brilliant views across the sea. We also enjoyed relaxing around the pool area. All rooms were clean & comfortable. Would highly recommend!

The Orlando International Airport is a quick 45-minute drive from the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Overall I like the facility and the friend of the staff. Will definitely stay there again.

The motel is eight miles from Highlands Hammock State Park. Cypress Gardens Adventure Park, Florida's first theme park, is 30 miles away. Visitors will enjoy shopping at the nearby Lakeshore Mall, one of Highland County's most popular tourist sites. Enjoy outdoor activities like fishing and golfing in the surrounding area. The motel is on a fishing lake with a marina located next door. Location was good.availabilty to shops & restaurants.
