Situated in Trout Lake, Historic Birch Lodge and Motel features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden. We were offered a room in the main house, although we had apparently booked into the motel section, at no extra cost. The new room was beautiful, charmingly decorated, and it had a view over the lake. It was actually possible to get a healthy breakfast from the food on offer.

Comfy night stay - very cute room and bed was very comfortable. Good location nearby to state parks and dining, but very quiet and peaceful.

Providing mountain views, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi, Mountain View Lodge & Cabins is located in Hill City, 18 km from Mount Rushmore and 24 km from Black Hills National Forest. The location was just beautiful. The deck and patio is a great place to just relax. There was so much to see and do around the lodge as well as a very nice Hill City with lots of souvenir shops and restaurants.

Love love love this place. We came all the way from Germany and had a really great stay. The rooms were big, had a fireplace and a cozy sitting area. What made the stay even better was the super kind lady at the front desk who explained everything at the hotel, offered us cookies and DVDs. Yes! The rooms have DVD players and the front desk has a HUGE variety of movies. It was like going back in time.. in a very positive way. Rooms were clean, bathroom was great and the location right at the beach stunning. We will be back!

Located in Rockerville in the South Dakota region, Pine Haven Lodging provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We loved our stay here. We book the place last minute and it was one of the best stop during our road trip. The staff is kind, the place is quiet and feels very relaxing, other guests are respectful. You pretty much won’t hear a sound even in the evening while everybody is relaxing around their campfire. Room is clean, bathroom is clean. You are 15mins by car from Rapid City. I would love to come back here and stay longer.

Situated in Rockaway Beach in the Missouri region, Cedar House features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. I loved the set up of the apartment and all the wood finishes. The hot tub was a nice place to relax. The location was a short distance from everything we wanted to do in Branson. I loved that they included breakfast in the little adorable quaint town restaurant.

Cabin 7 at Horse Creek Resort, a property with a terrace, is located in Rapid City, 29 km from Black Hills National Forest, 33 km from Journey Museum, as well as 28 km from Crazy Horse Memorial. The location was perfect. The cabin was super cozy. It was so peaceful there!
