Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine.

The beautiful view,the cozy room and the fireplace in my room.I loved that there was also no TV in the room and rarely any network. I loved that there were fireplaces all over the resort..it added a romantic touch

We did the Leopard trail in the Blyder River Canyon with Wendel, our host, who is a great guide and who told us about the trees on the trail and showed us scarvations from the Iron age. It was very interesting. We also did a trip with Wendel to Marieskop, the tallest Mountain in the Canyon, where we had a view of The Tree Rondavels from a different perspective. A hidden gem in the Blyder River Canyon! A great experience. So if you look for something special to do in this area, dont hesitate to contact Wendel, who cany make all arangements, so you get a great experiene that goes beyond your expectations.
