Everything: the place is lovely, there are opportunities to walk around and observe the old mining ventilation shaft, the breakfast is outstanding.(homemade meat, cheese and other supplements). We stayed in one of the luxury suites and it was stunning. The outdoor shower and plunge pool were highlights. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the view was stunning. We did a short hike around the property which was nice as well.

This lodge is a must-visit on a trip to Kruger park or back just for relaxing. I very rarely rate hotels as 10, but this is one of the few.

I felt very safe and secure there. A delightful bonus was seeing giraffe feeding on the trees so close to the walking path just steps from the guest house door! I also saw a warthog and some impala very nearby the place as well. It was a lovely experience staying here! I loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset and hearing the birds singing in the mornings! The hosts Zelda and George were very kind and made sure I found the place alright. They were also very responsive to my questions and concerns.

Wonderful facilities, shower etc and just a short walk to the dining/ bar. Also 2 swimming pools both lovely. The package we took included a safari daily, accom and meals. The food was excellent, the chef went to endless trouble to offer delicious and interesting meals every day. Transfers were excellent, on time and efficient. We also took the Panorama Tour which gave us a look at the fabulous scenery and geographic marvels of the area.

The location is incredible with an extensive view of the river. From the terrace one can see elephants, hippos and even crocodiles. The game drives twice a day are a must especially when you have a great guide like Victor. The food is also excellent. I would also like to stress out the great service of Angel and Vlak at the restaurant.
