Staff were extremely friendly and smiley, personal thanks to Santiago who was absolutely brilliant. We had a very heavy bag and staff took care of it despite the very many stairs. Welcome cocktail which is a nice touch. The room was very clean and the shower had hot water which is rare in the area. The views are fantastic, you will love the sunset. Dinner was good (very yummy coconut rice) and they even asked whether we wanted our red wine at room temperature (they tend to serve it cold in Colombia). Good breakfast. Close to Tayrona Park which avoids having to do a long drive. Hotel helped us organise our taxi requirements.

Everythng was perfect. The ladies in the staff were helpful, nice and smiley, the breakfast was delicious (pancakes, eggs or yogurt with granola amd fresh cut fruit), and the chill/pool area is soothing amd relaxing. The room.was great, with fan, AC and a beaitiful balcony with a hammock! It's very close to tayrona national park (you catch the bus right at the door or walk for 2kms) and there are restaurants nearby. Wifi worked great also. Recommend it 100%!

The staff were so helpful all the time with all of the question, the restaurant food is superb - try the Costa Curry with chicken - you’ll thank me later!!! 😄 Location is great, 10min by foot to Tayrona entrance and the place itself was cute, we stayed in the lodge by the main road but with ear plugs I couldn’t hear a thing. As a tip: withdraw cash somewhere by the airport or in Santa Marta beforehand as around Villa Tayrona you can only pay by cash or pay a card fee between 7-12% per transaction. In Villa Tayrona though, they put everything on one bill and you can pay by card before you leave without an additional fee! WiFi can be spotty but then just restart and it works fine. It was so superb, I wanna come back even just for the food! Thanks a lot for your help & service to the whole Villa Tayrona staff!

The location was stunning and the perfect place to relax. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Each room has great views of the mountains and jungle that surround you. The sunsets in particular were very special. The hosts, Franz and Ana, are extremely nice people and very accommodating. They really make you feel at home, while giving you the space to take in the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was among the best we had during our four weeks in Colombia. I cannot recommend this place enough. Having read the reviews before arriving, we were a little daunted by how remote the house was - but there was no need be daunted. The hosts met us at the road and walked with us to the accommodation. If you are used to some light hiking, it is no problem at all and makes for a very special journey every day. By the second day, you feel like a local.

This place is paradise. I have never stayed somewhere as magical, beautiful and accommodating as Posada Ofelia. It's difficult to describe in words, you just have to stay here. The crystal clear rivers, walks through the jungle and passionfruit vines, the two beautiful dogs Pollo and Paka, the sensational home cooked Colombian food (we stayed for 12 nights and the food was different and unique every time), and most of all the incredible hospitality from Esperanza and Javier. I can't thank you both enough for creating such a special place. I can't wait to return and give you both a big hug. If you're reading this please stay here!

The hosts are very kind and helpful! We left our luggage there before going into Tayrona park for a night. After we spend two days in the park we came back and they had the room and luggage ready for us. It's very close to El Zaino entrance and the bus to/from Palomino and Santa Marta comes by every few minutes. Swimming pool was very nice to cool down. Overall very relaxed!

WE LOVED EVERYTHING, from the location to the amazing staff (special mention to the ladies at the restaurant and Samuel at reception). The tents are súper confortable, bathrooms very clean, amazing food (we came back as we loved having dinner there). The vibe is so so good there. They have an outdoor shower in the sun that was very convenient! they provide with wifi (note no signal in most parts of the park). Children friendly also! Possibly the best place we have stayed so far - almost all places in the coas have no outside window so we loved the fresh air!!

There's an open kitchen and if it wasn't so hot, it'd be good to do a Chef's Table sort of thing. Our room as beautiful as was the plunge pool which was perfect for our toddler. We did the cocao tour and that was great too. We had a hire car and the hotel's directions worked perfectly for us! Everything was very reasonably priced given the setting and location.
