The location, the property itself, restaurant, the personel all were truly excellent. From beginning to end every detail was great. We also had dinner and both the food and the service were fantastic. There was also complimentary whiskey and sloe gin which is such a nice touch. Small details make huge differences.

The staff were very accommodating and looked after us very well. The gardens were really pretty and and well laid out with the swimming pool being a bonus. Continental breakfast included which was very adequate. Rooms were very comfortable with well equipped bathroom. A short walk from two other village pubs and about half an hour walk to the rest of the village.

This beautiful and friendly hotel in the stunning village of Cookham Dean was a delight. The room was so nicely appointed. We loved the big, luxurious bath in the bedroom and the great shower the following morning. In the Summer, the pool must be lovely so we will probably return to enjoy it! We were having dinner at Cliveden House Hotel and staying at this beautiful place made the whole anniversary celebration even more special.
