Strathlachlan Lodge, Luxury Country House with Hot tub & Sauna is a charming destination in a tiny Scottish hamlet, surrounded by mountains and forests. On the banks of Loch Fyne in Argyll, Strathlachlan Lodge, Luxury Country House with Hot tub & Sauna can accommodate up to 7 people, and offers free Wi-Fi.

The Lodge has everything, superbly equipped. Every time you thought, it would be good if......we looked and it was there. There are even bikes to be used which our kids enjoyed. The Lodge was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The location is so peaceful and quiet. We stayed as a family of 4 with teens and made full use of the hot tub, sauna and relaxation room. This really added a luxurious feel to the trip and a delightful addition to the Lodge. We used the Lodge as a base to have days trips around Argyll. Picking up fresh seafood and cooking at the Lodge in the large well equiped kitchen was a great way to spend an evening. The Lodge is also walkable to the Inver restaurant which is a gem and absolutely worth going to if staying. The Lodge owner was fab, gave clear instructions and easily contactable if required.

charming hotel with great sea view and with potential but in urgent need of renovation. furniture is due for replacement. stains on the carpets and seating area which gave me the impression that it was not always as clean as it should be. staff was friendly. breakfast was great. had dinner twice: first time really disappointing and second time ok (burger). room was big enough (had a superior room), bed and shower were good.

We had a very nice room with bath and shower. Unfortunately, room was let down by the poor sound insulation so sleep disturbed by early leavers in the room above. Quite expensive.

Service was very good. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good, as was the evening meal. We didn’t explore the hotel, perhaps we should have ventured into the lounge areas to justify the cost compared to other hotels we stayed in on this holiday! Our room was a bit tired, but perfectly clean and comfortable.

We were landing late and they were so helpful from the start and stayed up to let us in. Hotel is spotless, staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are good size with fresh decor albeit slightly dated but that didn’t matter. Food was delicious and service great. Location was amazing with a view across the loch and walks from the doorstep.

We loved the location of the hotel, our room (5) was nicely decorated, furnished with comfy bed, large bathroom, great views and very comfortable. Service was good, the breakfast was great and the common areas of the hotel (lounges, bar, restaurant) are all really nicely done out. They have a couple of benches lochside which are just amazing for sunset drinks.

It was spotlessly clean, the food was amazing, great breakfast. Well worth paying a little extra for the rooms with a view. Loved the comfy lounge upstairs with games and books to relax in at night if that’s what you wanted to do. I’m really fussy and this is a comfortable family run hotel with a lovely friendly atmosphere, that I would definitely return to. Also great value for money.

The location was stunning, on the banks of Loch Fyne. The hotel itself is small and friendly, with a nice atmosphere. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent, and breakfast included some really nice options like Loch Fyne kippers, porridge and apricots in honey and spices (which were amazing!). The room we booked had a lovely seating area to relax in, and the robes and slippers were a really nice touch. The bathroom included a lovely deep bath to soak in.

The staff is what makes this place. They are generous, accommodating, have a can-do attitude, think out of the box, and make you feel at home without being overbearing. We felt immediately at ease. Even unusual requests were met with a “or course”. Fishing off the bank of the loch right below the hotel was fun too.
