I’ll start by saying- this is a love hotel, but I couldn’t really tell just through the booking app alone. Regardless of that, it was pretty easy to check in- the manager or someone came out when we ran the bell and showed up how to pay for the room inside the room. It was the largest hotel room I’ve stayed at in Japan—- sink, dishware, karaoke, a massage chair, a slot machine in the room, ambiance music, nice lighting and clean sheets and pajamas provided.

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Sendai. Yes, we were aware that it’s technically a love hotel — but honestly, it has everything a regular hotel offers, and even more! In fact, it was more fun than many typical hotels we’ve stayed in. The room was spotless, with a large bathroom and a jacuzzi. The hotel provides a huge selection of free amenities — from drinks in the fridge to English-language movies (yes, including some adult content, but we didn’t focus on that). There was even free on-demand TV with a variety of channels. One of the fun parts was the massive collection of free shampoos and body care items. You could choose your favorites and bring them to the room to use. The staff were kind and professional, doing their best to avoid direct contact (as is standard in this kind of hotel), but they were very responsive and even offered to deliver food directly to the room.
