Will was an incredible host. He started the communication from before I arrived to ensure I had transportation to the resort and shared his suggestions or best way to plan the 3 days I was their. Thirty One is a charming hotel conveniently located within a 20-30 minute walk from the airport, as well as being close to the bus station and cable cars. The host, Steve, was exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout my stay. He not only provided great service but also crafted coffee that resembled true works of art. The room was big and the bed very comfortable. I highly recommend staying at Steve's place; meeting him significantly enhanced my experience in Zhangjiajie.

The hotel is within a 10-minute walking distance of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Wulingyuan entrance), which is extremely convenient. We got a free room upgrade when we got there and the staff was extremely helpful. They asked us how many days we planned on visiting the park (which was 1 day) and they talked us through an entire route we could take to make the most of our day. They also provided us with a map and helped us book our entrance tickets. We literally saw the entire park during this one day. It was perfect. They also offer free usage of washing machines, which we desperately needed. The breakfast was ok. The room was quite spaceous, really comfortable and had a nice bath and bidet toilet. Would definitely stay here again!

I would rate it 10 stars for top-notch hospitality. It's a cute place. Cute style and decor. Natural wood. Nice pillows. Nice white towels. The hosts are great and very, very helpful. You get very personalized service. They helped me with my tour tickets, take out dinner order, transportation, etc. The front desk is open late. It's beautiful at night with it all lit up. The pool looks beautiful at night as well with the blue lights. . Walkable to shops and restaurants. Nice neighborhood. Great AC system. Cool mood lighting. Very large bathroom.

The staff are amazing, especially Lucas from the management of the hotel. We have stayed 3 days in this hotel, and Lucas had made itinerary for us during our stay to explore all point of interest in Zhangjiajie. He knows exactly how to avoid long queue so we really can optimize the time that we had.
