Once the home of Worpswede artist Hans am Ende (1864-1918), the hotel has maintained its historic ambience & tradition (antique furniture, paintings, prints and photographs from the Worpswede artist/friend group, etc.), but with all the modern amenities, of course. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was uniformly friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was more than generous.
