Our stay at Iwaso was magical! We were treated so kindly by all of the staff. Everything from our pick up at the ferry terminal, the amazing dinner that evening and kindly keeping our suitcase while we explored the mountain the next day then making sure we had a ride back to the ferry when we left. Such a beautiful location.

What a magical place Miyajima is and Kurayado Iroha just adds to that magic. From the welcome when I dropped my luggage off in the morning to the farewell the following day I was treated to a very special experience. My room was beautiful, serene and relaxing, the addition of the nespresso machine a welcome bonus! I sat and watched the sun rise from behind the mountain sipping roasted tea. Dinner was exquisite, every course presented with a simple explanation, a more detailed written explanation was provided in both English and Japanese. Breakfast was equally delicious. The roof top onsen made the stay even more special. What a treat, sitting in a steaming hot bath watching dawn break over the island. I highly recommend a stay at Kurayado Iroha, for me, it was perfection.
