Bellwood Manor is immaculately and faultlessly furnished with an excellent staff. Every detail is designed and brilliantly executed. The food is brilliant with an excellent chef. I cannot recommend this stay more highly. It is a sheer pleasure to spend time at Bellwood Manor.

W15 Lake Gregory was everything we needed for a restful and refreshing escape. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The food was absolutely delicious. each meal thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The room was cozy, beautifully designed, and spotless, making it the ideal space to relax and unwind. The location by the lake is simply serene, peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect setting to disconnect and recharge. Special kudos to our butler Krishan, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and memorable. His attention to detail and kind service made a real difference. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy some true well-being time.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. I especially want to mention the staff, absolutely everyone was friendly, smiling and helpful. Saskia Ambu helped us throughout our stay, helped us order a taxi and tuk-tuk, explained to the drivers where to take us and what we needed to find. A good attitude was manifested even in non-obvious things, such as giving us water to take with us in the car, treating us to a Sri Lankan dish and giving us a free visit to the sauna, but unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of it. Breakfast was delicious, dining room was clean, service was fast and high quality. Again all the staff are absolutely amazing. I also want to mention the cleanliness. The room, the bathroom and bed were very clean. Wifi worked well and we were even able to watch a TV series from it.

Our two-night honeymoon stay at Oliphant in Nuwara Eliya was nothing short of magical. This beautifully preserved 1800s property, nestled within a tea plantation, perfectly balances historical elegance with intimate boutique hotel service. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially during my husband's birthday celebration. They arranged beautiful room decorations and even helped me in surprising my husband with a cake – touches that made the occasion truly special. The hotel's location is a highlight, offering peaceful morning walks through the surrounding tea plantation. The property's rich heritage is evident in every corner, providing an authentic glimpse into Sri Lanka's colonial past. Special mention must go to Lakshman, whose attentive service really made our experience special. The entire staff demonstrated professionalism while maintaining a warm, personal approach. The food was delicious and the chef went out of his way to prepare a beautiful cake for us during our stay! For those seeking a tranquil retreat in Nuwara Eliya with impeccable service, Oliphant is an outstanding choice.     Nice property in the high mountains of Sri Lanka with beautiful vistas on the agricultural landscape and mountains. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is literally running for you. The chef is serving a delicious diner. Pool table room with fantastic view. They try to position themselves on a luxury boutique level Realize you are on 2000mtr altitude so it is totally different from the rest of Sri Lanka. The sauna is gr8 on windy rainy days and the pool then serves to cool down.

    We stayed at this hotel for just two nights. As our stay was during low season, we (4 adults + 1 child) had the hotel to ourselves. The location of the hotel, although a little distance from the town centre, was superb. The staff (especially, Budhika, the Duty Manager) were exceptionally friendly and helpful - nothing was too much. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The food was of a high standard and, again, the Duty Chef was more than happy to meet our requests. We would highly recommend this 7 room boutique hotel.

    La Grande Villa is a must to do if you are coming at NUWARA ELIYA. You can feel the luxury England atmosphere everywhere. The room is fabulous, the food is delicious and all the staff was so caring, so helpful and so nice. You can count on the receptionist Farhan if you need anything, count on the chef if you want to eat Sri Lankan, Indian or English food and count on the staff to makes you feel like a VIP guest. Thanks to all of you for this unforgettable stay. I warmly recommend that place.
