Hotels That Guests Love in Santa Cruz
Rio Vista Suites Santa Cruz

“The bed was luxury personified and the slanted ceilings and fireplace added to the character. The walk-in shower looked stunning and inviting but the rain shower head could not be adjusted and in the confined space there was no way of avoiding an icy cold deluge until the water ran hot - which being on the top floor seemed like forever.”

Best Western Plus All Suites Inn

“The King Deluxe rooms are very spacious and comfortable.”

Pacific Inn Santa Cruz

“The hotel was recentally taken over and improved. The new owners are attempting to make rooms more affordable and update each room. You get what you pay for. If complete luxury is required, go to the beach and pay $350 a night. This place is normal for the area in which it is located. The noise level was low and the air conditioning worked very well. What else do you need?? Parking is included and very accessible.”

Dream Inn Santa Cruz

“I loved the sound of the waves on the top floor because all waves in view added their sound together so was very loud to my joy of life as such we slept wonderfully with the door open all night! This is my favorite spot in Santa Cruz with luxury rooms and views right on the beach. Invite me back and I'll come again.;-}”

Hotel Solares

“Spacious deluxe queen room, lots of walking room even with lots of luggage and both indoor/outdoor breakfast and eating areas are roomy too. Room attendant Beatriz is kind, polite and efficient. Desk/phone personnel Justin, Gearsh and Scott were all professional, welcoming, accommodating as well as good LISTENERS. I am disabled and kids have health issues. Staff addressed all my concerns discretely. Pet and kid friendly, at its best! Gem in SC =) ”

Ocean Echo Inn & Beach Cottages

“Highly recommended. The inn isn't luxurious, but it was clean, and the beds were super comfy. The location is fabulous: situated at the end of a quiet street, just off a gorgeous little beach, with larger beaches close by. We had never been to Santa Cruz and were so a little worried about not being closer to the boardwalk, but it was an easy car or bus ride away. Super friendly, highly helpful hosts made our stay a memorable one.”

Rio Vista Suites Santa Cruz

“Property should not be labeled as luxury. Tiny room and no staff in the building after 9:00pm. Small parking lot that is tight to get in and out. Furniture and room showing signs of cheap and not being maintained.”

Harbor Inn

“Definitely a beach cabin atmosphere, not a luxury hotel, but that was fine with us. Quiet with big windows. Lots of books to borrow in the downstairs lounge. A nice but noisy café is just 200 yards away. Bring lots of sunscreen!”

Aqua Breeze Inn

“The location is fabulous! Parked the car, walked 1 block (across a parking lot) to the Boardwalk and the beach is just on the other side of that! Once you park, you don't need to drive again until you're leaving. What a plus! A more important feature than the location is the cleanness of the rooms and baths which is impeccable! Safety and security are equally, if not more important to me, than the cleanness. I felt totally comfortable, like staying with family! The facilities are very clean and comfortable, not luxurious, but cozy.”
