I recommend spending the extra for a balcony room with views overlooking the English channel

The apartment and all furniture are of high quality and all was in excellent condition, very modern and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, the free coffee capsules were appreciated. We liked the location a lot, 5min walk from the beach but in a calm neighbourhood. You can park the car on the streets but pay attention to the signs since some streets are paying or for inhabitants only. We’ll come back next year !

Delicious breakfast, comfortabele room, furnished with taste. In front of the tram house, close to “rent a bike”. The hostess does her utmost to give you the best possible stay in De Haan. Highly recommended, we hope to come back soon.

Easy to access from the E40/A10 . Close to town centre and park at the top of the street. Free parking for vehicles less than 1.8 m high and public car park close if you have a van . The most comfortable bed we had since leaving home. Worth every euro. Would recommend and will rebook next time in Ostend.

The breakfast was a highlight—a generous spread with fresh juice, homemade pies, eggs, and all the morning essentials. But the true gem of this place is the horses—beautiful, well-kept, and clearly cherished. The host has dedicated his life to breeding these magnificent creatures. It’s an incredible place with wonderful people, and we would love to return someday!

Estephan and his daughter were so friendly and accommodating. Because I wouldn't be there for the gaufre time, he saved me one for when I returned. We had to leave very early and they packed us a breakfast to go. I hope I can return one day.

The staff was personal and friendly. They communicate in four languages and treat you as an individual. The food was of top quality and the room was comfortable. You are in walking distance of the beach and central to the train station without it being in a crowded area.
