Wonderful atmosphere as soon you set foot in the lobby and get welcomed with a delicious glass of wine. The rooms continue the theme of relaxing. Very calming tones and serene views. The beds are comfortable and the pillows can be individualized. We ate at the hotel restaurant which was a modern take on fine dining. Delicious selection on foods and wine with exceptionally friendly staff. We ended the night at the rooftop bar where we enjoyed live music and solid cocktails. The popcorn served at the bar was a new flavor explosion and we had to have the secret of their spices, which the friendly bartender happily shared. Breakfast buffet was variety rich and delicious. Free champagne was definitely a plus. I think a major plus is also the direct access to the Therme which makes for a luxurious stay. Rounding off our stay with a massage at the hotel spa. Definitely recommend a stay here. 10/10

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. It was a very comfortable place. Great value for money. The manager Fabian was really welcoming and my children immediately took a liking to him and he went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The place was clean and well equipped, and had a fabulous bakery on the ground floor too.. great for a night stop or longer if you have work in Freiburg.

It is 600 metres from the Kurhaus spa resort and a 2-minute walk from the Caracalla Thermal Baths. People were all kind and friendly, room was very new and clean, breakfast was great, location can't be better... we just want to come back!! (and the water pressure of the shower was the best I've experienced in Europe. Lol... if there is anyone who cares about it!)

We recently stayed in this beautiful and well-equipped apartment in the perfect location in Freiburg, and it exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tom, who handed us the keys and gave us a tour of the apartment, making us feel right at home. The place was clean, and the highlight was the terrace with a wonderful jacuzzi and amazing views, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Tom was very helpful, providing us with restaurant recommendations and taking the time to show us the nearby parking garage. We were fortunate to borrow a parking permit from him, which made our stay even more convenient and we payed half the price with the permit. As we had an electric car, it was a huge plus that we could easily charge it in the garage. Our stay was fantastic, and we would love to return to this apartment in the future. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Berta! The location was very easy to find, with clear and helpful directions provided in advance. The apartment was beautifully decorated, absolutely spotless, and felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Communication was excellent — we received prompt and friendly responses throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. One of the loveliest surprises was coming back from the amusement park to find a bag of delicious Easter pastries waiting at the door. Such a thoughtful and kind gesture! Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely recommend Villa Berta to anyone looking for a warm, well-maintained, and perfectly located place to stay.
