The room was charming - cozy beds and a nice modern bathroom with great bath products. Breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed all the extra touches in the house that relate to it's heritage. It's the kind of place you almost don't want to tell people about lest you can't get a booking when you return!

This place was akin toa 5 star hotel. Angela and John were very friendly and helpful. The comfort of the bed and pillows wad fantastic. The food was cooked to perfection, with a little bit of chat along at breakfast was very welcome. They had binoculars in my room if I fancied a bit of birdwatching along the beach.

The accommodation was beautifully decorated and was lovely and spacious. We were in one of the garden rooms and it was very quiet and perfect for us and the dog. The breakfast was a great start to the day and the food in the evening was excellent. We had fantastic meals every time we ate there. All the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We were within 5 minutes of the beach which was beautiful especially in the evening. A great location for exploring Aberdeen and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend it here and we can't wait to come back.
