The hospitality was exceptional……the tone is set right at the top by the owner Mr. Danish ……what a wonderful gentleman and a host. Every member of the staff took personal care of us…..Mr. Anoop and Shafeeq at the reception/ front desk were absolutely stellar with their hospitality and timely advice. Shafeeq regaled us with beautiful insights of his experience in the region. A huge thanks to Mr. Ramzan for stitching together a wonderful itinerary given the weather related restrictions around the time we visited. Arif……the guy who drove us around was simply fantastic……such a humble wonderful person and an expert driver navigating the treacherous terrains of Ladakh….. Last but not the least, the staff at the restaurant (Zasgyrath) were very friendly and always up for a nice banter. A big shout out to Tara, Sunil, Arun for their hospitality. The management is conscious of the environmental impact and has already taken serious actions to curb / mitigate the impact on the environment given that Ladakh’s delicate ecosystem. The bottling plant that serves the guests with pure filtered water in sealed glass bottles. This is an absolute winner and encourage the management to push for more such initiatives. I would strongly recommend guests to stay at the Grand Dragon just for the incredible hospitality.

The entirety of this establishment was truly exceptional. The rooms offered a comfortable and pristine environment, complemented by an ideal location. The houseboatl manager, saleem, exuded remarkable politeness, friendliness, and assistance. Despite traveling solo, I never felt isolated due to his adept guidance and support regarding travel arrangements. Overall, my stay was immensely enjoyable and satisfying.

I liked the decor, how comfortable the bed was and that you can have tea or breakfast outside and watch the mountains. It was very peaceful. The staff was also very nice and made me feel safe and comfortable. Especially the two young men that provided me food every day and even brought me a hot water bag to help me stay warm and sleep well. I wish I had written down their names because they were the best.

An amazing homestay 🏠 in one of the finest localities of Srinagar. It's almost at the centre and equidistant to most of the city attractions. The homestay has a good stable wifi connection and power backup and I have to shout out to the caretakers of the homestay for making sure everyone was comfortable with the stay , food or travel .
