The property provides complimentary round-trip transfer from Krabi Airport to the resort. Of course it is a beautiful resort, but what made it 10/10 was the staff! Super nice and helpful people! Also, they have an own app, which made communication, transportation and even reservations, so everything really easy during our stay. We traveled with our baby, I would totally reccommend this resort for families, they even had a wonderful kids corner.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. 10 out of 10 in every aspect, from arrival to checking in was such a fabulous experience, we were met by the lovely Tia and after a welcome drink, we dealt quickly and easily with the checking in process, then were taken to the onsite Spa, we could chose a signature scent to aid our relaxation, then on to our amazing room with private pool overlooking the mountains, nothing was a problem and we were greeted like royalty every day, we booked to go on the Kayak tour through the mangrove Forrest and that is a must, from being picked up to being guided, with a light snack lunch on our return to the dock, it’s a must see and don’t miss, every member of the team was amazing, also experienced their Catamaran trip and that was so wonderful, pick up, to return was perfect!!

Located in a well-kept garden, the resort is very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist who helped me book a tour as well as my transfer back to the airport.

We were supposed to stay for 3 nights and after the first day we extended our stay by 7 more nights as we loved the feeling we got about Varana. The design of the bedrooms and the buildings overall were stunning and very unique - artistic and minimalist. The lay out of the bedrooms and facilities is also really nice- feels like a village filled with staff who always greeted us so warmly on every occasion. The facilities including an Olympic pool and gym were amazing and truly state of the art. What we loved most was the ethos and culture in Varana, one that made this resort feel like a holistic rejuvenation of mind, body and soul rather than just another resort like many others. The focus on holistic health was evident in the design of the menus and the breakfast buffet which offered fresh Thai teas tailored to different ailments such as bloating and indigestion, the relaxing spa and smell of beautiful aromatherapy oils, the onsen, the daily physical activity schedule including paddle boarding and aqua aerobics suited to all levels, the comfortable spaces to sit and lounge by many pools, not to mind the unique singing and chirping of birds in the morning and evening. The beach club nearby was also nice and we enjoyed some complimentary kayaking on the beach. It was truly a memorable experience for us and we already cannot wait to return.

Exceptional This is the best resort/hotel we have ever stayed at. It is absolutely exceptional and stunning. It’s a hidden paradise. The bungalow with garden view that we have chosen is spacious and is super clean so as everywhere else within the resort. We cannot express enough our appreciation for the hospitality of the owners, Sam and Jacquie, and their attentive smiling staffs to make us feel like home. Beachfront and swimming pool are spectacular in front of the beautifully designed restaurant, particularly during sunset. Food is good with outstanding service. Resort provides all kind of services to fulfill our needs such as renting motorbike etc. etc. This resort deserves a five star rating. Highly recommended. Thank you Sam, Jacquie and your team.
