We stayed 4 nights at Akira Lipe as a family (2 adults and 3 children), and overall it was a fantastic experience. The resort is beautiful, the facilities are great, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Just a small note for Muslim families: the hotel is not particularly Muslim-friendly, though still acceptable. Alcohol and pork are served, which is understandable in a mixed resort setting. However, during breakfast, special attention should be given to food handling. For example, utensils used for pork and eggs are often mixed, and it would be appreciated if the hotel could make an effort to separate them – especially by providing dedicated utensils for halal-friendly items. Apart from this, everything else was top-notch – a great stay in a beautiful setting.

Facing the beachfront, Irene Resort Koh Lipe offers 5-star accommodation in Ko Lipe and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and restaurant. Very clean and beautiful calm place. Amazing rooms.

Rustic charm - white painted villas and studios, decking well maintained as were the pools. Breakfast basic - two main options , but freshly cooked and tasty, other drinks, meals available during the day were good Staff fabulous so welcoming, the bar staff and especially the girls at reception Clean rooms and area, constantly being swept from leaves Plenty of fresh bottled water daily Lush rainforest surrounded by sheltered sunset beach cove Easy to get a taxi into Walking Street or a nice stroll along sunrise beach.

Our experience here was wonderful. Before our stay our questions were answered very promptly. The location is perfect as it is directly by Walking Street. The staff are ALL super friendly and very helpful. We were lucky to have stayed on the 24th December, where the hotel and staff put on a beautiful dinner and wonderful show for the evening. It was an unexpected surprise and really made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the staff members "Mr A" always made sure everything was good for us, so a big thank you to him! I'm sure when we visit Koh Lipe again, this will be our place of choice to stay!
