It’s also conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore the area.

Hotel staff was kind and helpful, especially Liam who helped us get rides and customize plans for our family. Lovely experience with Tam Coc Retreat.

The hotel is on a quiet street just off the main strip and a 2-minute walk from where the Tam Coc boat launch is located. Several little restaurants and convenience shops are next door or walk a couple minutes to the main street for more. My room was very comfortable with a big window and nice view of the mountains. Breakfast was good and varied. Jonny is the manager and really makes your stay comfortable. He wasn't pushy either like the hotels in Hanoi are with trying to sell you tours. He simply provided me with information on things to see in the area and I told him what I wanted to do and asked for his help in setting them up. He helped me rent a bicycle for a day and I had a pleasant ride around the town amongst the karsts and to see some local temples. He also helped me organize a taxi to take me to Trang An and back for a boat tour there. When I needed to leave for an early morning train, he packed me food to take along with me. Highly recommended!
