Special mention for Brian on reception, he made a special effort to communicate with my disabled son. His rendition of 'We are the Champions' chorus ( we visited to see a Queen tribute band in Newcastle) brought such a big smile to my son's face.
Well done for going above and beyond.
The building itself was incredible. The architecture and metal work was beautiful. It made tribute to how it once looked which we thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was easily accessible and decorated stylishly.
Close to the city, good amenities for the value.
The staff were lovely, I arrived early and they let me park/register my car before check in time so I could explore the city
It offered a kettle facility and a lovely hair dryer. The TV was an acceptable size. The staff at reception were very helpful. The hotel is very centrally located and although it does not have parking, there is an NCP Car Park at 10 mins walk by the City Centre which if you bother to register with the NCP App the prices charges will be very reasonable.
Location great for us as visiting relatives close by. The hotel I’d a high standard hotel as it was branded Marriott. It is becoming a little tired hence, I guess the rebranding to Delta. Clean however and friendly staff.
