The Hampton Inn was too close to the city.
The Hampton Inn was too close to the city. It was not in a decent location. It was on a six lane city street which made made walking the area very difficult. Parking was OK. The overall feeling was that it was rundown and needed a lot as of fixing up to bring it up to standards. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers.
Restaurants were OK. The ribs place was great. Driving the streets around the hotel was very difficult and stressful. We just regretted choosing ths Hampto Inn for our travels.

Memphis has a lot of history, especially if you are into...
Memphis has a lot of history, especially if you are into music. I really enjoyed touring Graceland with my daughter, who loves everything music. Beale Street was nice to go to as well. The Memphis Zoo was very nice. Can fill a whole day. They treat their animals very well. Has some beautiful parks, and a Huge Bass Pro Shop. There is a children's museum as well. It's very easy to fill a week.

Your location was fine however, when I called to make reservation, I was told the deposit was $50 but when I came in person, the deposit is now $100 the room had the right musty, smelly old smell to it. I wasn’t comfortable but because I got there so late at night I had to make do checkout time was at 11. I think I checked out at nine. I was just ready to go. I would not recommend this hotel to no one. I’m from Baltimore Maryland. I came to Memphis for a family reunion. That was the worst hotel.

It was very hot so a lot of the residents were inside but...
It was very hot so a lot of the residents were inside but that made for less crowds during the day and at night we went to Beale steeet and it was a nice amount of people. The food was a hit or miss but overall I loved the few museums that I visited so I have to return to visit the others I missed.

Memphis is fantastic. Graceland was our objective. Fantastic along with all the museums along Elvis Presley Boulevard, downtown Memphis is full of bars restaurants.aldo's pizza pie place is tasty, a must visit is The World Famous Peabody Hotel for the daily duck march, 11am get there about 3/4 hrs b4 hand to snag your place on ground floor along by the elevator and DONT MOVE! It packs out in about 20mins.for real.same for 5pm. Loved it. Dont miss Bass Pro Shop.and the elevator wow.thats something else. Thankyou Memphus.

Beale street was a slight disappointment.
Beale street was a slight disappointment. It was dirty and looked unsavory - lots of homeless persons sleeping and begging on the street
Loved Graceland more than we expected. We had another tour planned but gave it up because there was so much to experience at Graceland, and we did not want to miss a thing. A costly thing to know - Graceland takes a lot longer than you think but it is worth it
The Mexican restaurant we ate at the first night was awful - loud, dirty, no service, got our order wrong and neve replaced it. Would not recommend. Next night we ate at Marlow's - loved being picked up in the pink Cadillac. Atmosphere was good. Food was good. Singer was excellent! It was so close to the Tangier outlet Mall in Mississippi that we took a drive there before we went home. Loved it!
the traffic and the exit closure made it a little difficult to get around.

The location is great..close to Beale street and the river and within walking distance of many of the attractions in Memphis
We walked to the Peabody to see the duck march and to Sun studios
There is a multi story car park across the road.
We got an Uber from the hotel to Graceland

Clean hotel and room. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Breakfast buffet was great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved the location in Memphis. Secured parking was also a pleasant surprise.

Nice hotel and rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast in Deltas was great. All the facilities were good. Staff helpful and pleasant. Perfect location to visit Elvis and easy to get downtown too.
